Residents who live within the Grant Park Library District are eligible to receive a free library card from the Grant Park Public Library. To verify eligibility, please check your property tax bill for the listing "Village of Grant Park – Library." Applicants must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of current address, such as a recent utility bill.
Library cards are available to all household members age 5 and older. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the registration form. To ensure account information remains current, library cards must be renewed every three years.
Non-residents who live outside the Grant Park Public Library district but in Grant Park, IL 60940 may be eligible to purchase a non-resident library card.
The annual fee for a non-resident household card is $50. A non-resident household card allows all members of the household age 5 and older to obtain library cards and access library services. Renewed yearly.

Public computers may be used with a valid library card or photo ID. Guest passes are available for adult patrons. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign an Internet Computer Registration and User Agreement before using library computers. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while using public computers.
